Williamsburg and Coney Island in New York
Coney Island, a popular beach town in New York, is ideal for a day trip with its nostalgic charm, its sidewalks designed with planks of wood, its arcades and Astroland Park, a recreational park that has a Ferris wheel from which you can view the entire perimeter of the area. In addition, this park has the famous Cyclone roller coaster, built in 1927, which still rattle wooden tracks.
Another must is the Coney Island Aquarium for Wildlife Conservation, KeySpan Park, which is located on the seafront and is the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, a team of minor league baseball, and Sideshows by the Seashore.
A five minute walk to North Beach, Brighton Beach Ave at Brighton Beach, has many shops, bakeries and restaurants of Russian cuisine.
The Williamsburg area is located across the East River from the East Village and here the preserve of hipsters continuing momentum in this area full of men and women sitting in bohemian cafes, going to art gallery openings and crowded bars, and exhibiting an aspect of the art.
Formerly a real industrial community on the seafront in the last decade has been transformed to the chagrin of many residents.
Do not miss the excellent Brooklyn Brewery offers tours, special events and night clubs.
